Assoc Prof Victor Gekara
As a Nippon Foundation Scholar, Dr Victor Gekara completed his Ph.D in International Political Economy at the School of Social Sciences at Cardiff University, UK.
His research focuses on industrial transformations, as a result of changing technologies and global economic shifts, and the impact on the future of work, workforce skills and employment.
He is co-leader of the Skills Training and Industry Research Network (STIRN).

Callon-Butler has consulted to the United Nations on gender equality and empowerment.
