The global digital content creation market is expected to exceed $US16 billion by 2025, growing 9.1 per cent, as companies stake their claim within the fast evolving digital landscape, amid rapid marketplace digitisation.
The growth forecast comes from a recent report from 360 Research Reports – one of a number of industry studies showing surging growth in the space, as declining production costs, rising internet penetration, expanding smartphone use, and increased adoption of digital marketing tools is driving rapid uptake by businesses across the globe.
Another industry report, this time from InsightSLICE, forecasts the global digital content creation market size to grow by 12 per cent, to US$38.2 billion by the end of the decade.
That figure would mean a tripling of the global digital content creation market since 2019, when it was estimated to be worth US$11 billion
The report, The Digital Content Creation Market – Global Market Share, Trends, Analysis and Forecasts, says the growth has been fast tracked by COVID-19, which forced companies to strengthen their digital footprint for sustainable growth.
“Digital content creation has emerged as an essential tool for B2B communication owing to the increased online traffic and proliferation of internet services,” the report states.
“Development of appropriate content such as white papers, blog posts, e-newsletters, case studies and so on helps to target relevant audiences.”
